This deck was constructed of a combination of MicroPro treated #1 Red Pine and Azek Composite decking. The #1 should represent that there are fewer knots, no wane or bark and of course no rot. This is inspected by the National Lumber Industry, and carries a manufacturers lifetime warranty against rot or deterioration. As a company, we are very pleased with Red Pine as a deck material. It produces less sap and less twisting as compared to Yellow Pine or Ponderosa Pine. Azek composite boards are a cellular pvc product, and do not suffer from the usual issues associated with composite boards. Unlike composite boards constructed with sawdust, Azek composite boards do not struggle with mold and warping.
All of our decks are set with concrete, and the post is brought up to create a support for the railing. All of our railing is framed on both sides to create a finished, Good Neighbor® look. The composite floor boards are 1" x 5-1/2", and they carry a Lifetime Limited Warranty. The composite deck is available in 13 colors (Silver Oak, Slate Gray, Tahoe, White, Sedona, Redland Rose, Morado, Kona, Fawn, Cobre, Clay, Brownstone and Acacia). The composite material from Azek is extremely unique due to the fact that it is stain resistant, scratch resistant, split resistant, mold & mildew resistant, impervious to moisture and insects. Azek decking material is extremely durable and long lasting. There is no other composite deck currently on the market that can make those same claims! Customers no longer have to deal with the hassles of a composite deck mainly constructed of milk jugs. The Azek deck option eliminates the old hassles of lack of strength, swelling and splitting. As with everything we do, our decks are custom-built which allows the customer to be as decorative or as simple as they choose. Each customer's needs are unique, and a composite deck may not be the best choice for everyone.
For the convenience of our customers we provide installations year around, however, be sure to plan ahead on your installation. The summer months are very busy, and this will allow us to accommodate for your holiday parties or pool installation.
